Eyes are the first thing people see, so it should be a priority to take excellent care of the skin around your eyes. My mom has been on me about using under eye creams for a year now, and she won’t stop asking me if I’m consistent with my regime because she knows that our family is not blessed when it comes to our eyes. My mother hardly has any wrinkles, but she does have under-eye puffiness and darker undertones. Although her constant nagging drove me up the wall, it did get me to be proactive and do some research by asking friends, family, and co-workers what the best under eye creams are to prevent aging.

Obviously getting enough sleep, staying hydrated and staying clear of stress are great preventatives, but unfortunately they don’t solve the problem as a whole. The skin around the eyes is so delicate and sensitive that it is hard to skip an under-eye treatment when you have bad under-eye genetics like me. I have noticed that my eyes reflect more of how I feel the older I get, and it is harder to maintain that fresh, rejuvenated look.

My next advisor, Laura, is a lady I met at a coffee shop who doesn’t look a day over 35 and swears she is in her mid 50s. Laura says her under-eye secret is Daily Eye Cream from Arbonne.
