Alexander McQueen Spring 2012 RTW |
When I was designing the interior of my house, I wanted eveything to be feng shui. So, in order to keep everything balanced, I used different materials, plants, and colors to keep my house harmonious. I painted one of my walls orange to bring wealth into my life, so I always associate the color with wealth, but orange triggers happiness just like yellow and stimulates activity. Since orange is an intense and aggressive color, I believe it should be paired with softer colors such as beige and brown to stabilize the outfit, not complicate it. Orange is a little harder to work with than yellow, which actually makes putting an outfit together easier because you have less options to choose from.
My first pick is out of this world crazy and fun! The Herve Leger orange and pink resin fringe clutch is very unique. Wear this with your white dress, your jeans, or any simple colored outfit and everyone will compliment you on this eye staining bag. I would not wear this with other bright, bold spring colors because it would definitely be overkill.

Tory Burch knows color. Her Hibiscus orange and gold cuff is a must have. It’s bold and won’t clash with your other spring colored outfits, unlike the clutch. The cuff can be worn with a lime green cardigan and a simple outfit. You will have plenty of chances to show off this hot cuff. I think the first month you shouldn’t leave home without it! Try layering with some gold bangles for an extra dramatic look!

Do you have a wedding to attend in the late spring or summer? If you do you, then you should definitely give this stunning BCBG strapless chiffon dress a go! Keep it classic with statement piece earrings. I think the picture of this dress is convincing enough -- love it!
