Every fashionista remembers her first pair pair of designer jeans. Mine was a pair of $100 Diesel "Fanker" jeans purchased in the Diesel store at South Coast Plaza in Costa Mesa, California. The "designer jean" craze was just beginning. Seven for All Mankind was still two years away and the idea of buying $400 jeans in your local Nordstrom was unheard of. It sounds like the stone age, but it really wasn't all that long ago. I no longer have that particular pair of jeans, but I still sport Diesel on a regular basis. My favorites are a pair of wide-leg Diesel denim trousers purchased at the source in Italy. Diesel jeans fit like a dream and come in a variety of unique fits and washes. A definite must-have for any denim collection.
Today's Online Deal is a chance to get a pair of trendy straight-leg Diesel "Cherone" jeans, normally priced in the triple digits, for less than the cost of discount store denim. Unheard of, really. These hot jeans come in two washes: a distressed medium wash (above left) and a dressier dark wash (right). The straight-leg fit is is right on trend with the slim fitting jeans craze, but much more forgiving than the infamous "skinny" jeans. Fabulous.
