Although I was technically born in the '70s, I don't actually remember them. I didn't get the chance to sport wide-leg, high waist jeans and huge sunglasses the first time around. Needless to say, I'm super excited about having the chance to indulge in the new '70s clothing trends for summer '07. Although wide-leg jeans are far and away my fave retro trend, intricate high heels are running a very close second.
One of the most vivid memories I have of my mom's late '70s and early '80s wardrobe is her elaborate high heels. A favorite pair of carved wooden platform pumps are the ones I most wish were still around. Since none of mom's heels made it past the '80s, it looks like I'm going to have to invest in my own throwback pumps.
