I'm always impressed when stars actually wear the items they endorse. It makes me believe that they really do enjoy those items, not just that they get paid to say that they like them in commercials and print ads. A perfect example is Miss Lauren Conrad of The Hills fame. Lauren recently hit the red carpet sporting a faux stone cocktail ring that she endorses as a "favorite item" from the Mark collection of old school label Avon.
