My hair has issues. Big, fluffy, frizzy issues. It wasn't always this way. In high school I had waist-length, super straight hair the color of spun gold. By my early 20s I developed a funny wave in my hair, which my doctor assured me was the result of natural hormonal fluctuations. Yes, I was so disturbed by my suddenly curly hair that I consulted my doctor. It didn't end there. In the spring of 2005, in a fit of anti-SoCal rage, I dyed my naturally golden locks a deep auburn. Three years and four hair colors later, my curls have turned to uber-damaged kinks that frizz if you so much as look at them with a glass of water in your hand. Like I said, issues.
I spend an inordinate amount of time looking for new anti-frizz treatments. I've tried dozens, but they have been band-aid solutions at best. Then I stumbled upon Davines. I'd like to pretend that my Davines purchase was completely pre-meditated. In reality, I was seduced by the minimalist-chic packaging and its Parma, Italy, origins (I may live in San Francisco, but I left my heart in northern Italy ages ago). Funny how these things work out sometimes.

A nickel-sized dab of Davines "Momo" Anti-Frizz Fluid-- my first Davines discovery-- takes care of my long, crazy hair like nobody's business. I fell so hard for Davines that I am now branching out to give their other products a try. I may turn into a hair product monogamist yet.
