As much as I completely and utterly adore every piece of clothing that Phillip Lim produces, I have been a little underwhelmed by his handbag offerings... until now. I stumbled upon an amazing new Phillip Lim bag and fell hard.
The brand new Belgium Bag from 3.1 Phillip Lim is a gorgeous confection crafted from taupe leather with chic black leather trim and antique gold hardware. Although it's hard to gauge the size from this picture, this 22" by 14" by 7" bag is big enough to be useful as an everyday bag, but just shy of crossing over into that crazy overnight bag size that was so popular last season. What I find most appealing about this new bag is that it is just slouchy enough to rock with jeans and a tee, but has great ladylike details that make it perfectly appropriate to pair with your best power suit.
