I've become so used to sharing my online bargain hunting finds with Stiletto Jungle readers that buying first and writing later has become a very rare occurrence. But, my selfish streak got the best of me with this hot new sale priced find. Just today I ran across these gorgeous, funky "Silene" Pumps from Fornarina and I snapped them up on the spot.
I haven't purchased anything from Fornarina in a while, and now I'm wondering why. Their stuff is so unique. Fornarina, which started off as a women's shoe label, was founded in 1947 by Gianfranco Fornari. Fornarina added clothing and jeans to the mix in 1998 and the rest is history. Fornarina is now best known for its funky, feminine and slightly mischievous women's clothing. But, the shoes are still amazing. These "Silene" pumps take the classic loafer style-- which is at the top of the hot list for fall-- and add add a little spice with a chunky wood heel and colorful bow accents. I picked up the deep red pair pictured here, but it was a close call. This sale priced pump is also available in arctic blue patent leather, which is gorgeous. Both pair are a whopping 74% off retail price.
