I've long been an advocate of Old Navy as a place to stock up on basics, like tees and chinos, but there's something a little different going on at Old Navy this fall season. Old Navy seems to be slowly repositioning itself as the place to go for trendy, affordable pieces to liven up your wardrobe. From workwear, to cozy sweaters, to flirty dresses, there's a whole lot going on at Old Navy this fall season... and apparently a lot more to come.
The Old Navy Fall Collection has been split into two releases: the September Collection, available now, and the upcoming October Collection. From the September Collection, one of my favorite finds is the Belted Twill Jacket (left). It is available in Blue-Grey (shown) and a feisty Pink Cadillac, and is a perfectly chic little fall jacket.
Other favorites include preppy Oxford shirts that feature a striped detail under the collar, a boho-chic Voile Cinch Tie Dress, Rib-Knit Cardigans in candy colors for a mere $15, a vintage-look Stretch Ponte Pleated Jacket that vibes very Jackie O., and a Mock Neck Top with delicate crochet detail that looks more designer-y than some of items from the BCBG fall line. I'm not even joking.
