--By Jules NewmarkWell, it's official, yet another New York fashion week has ended and the next one I'm sure is in the works. The tents will be taken down, the fashionistas of the world will begin packing up to journey home and the celebrities will have to hunt for another fabulous event to PR themselves into. One thing that won't go is the influence brought to the runway for the Spring '09 collections. The architectural heels, the cream based wardrobe from Calvin Klein and of course the slew of sunglasses will influence not only the fashion magazines, but what you'll be wearing in a few months to come.
CRHEE Spring 2009
Now that the cat's out of the bag, the knock-off designs begin and soon enough, come springtime, you'll be seeing all the styles yet again, toned down from runway of course. For all the fashion gems you might have missed, head over to
Style.com now and check out the shows from your own front row! This year at the GenArt show, the womenswear designer
CRHEE, Christine Rhee, paired up with jewelry designer Samantha House to put on a lovely show (pictures above). The pieces were architectural in design and really flattered the hanger-like models' bodies, which says to me they'll look great in the appropriate sizes once crafted.
Samantha House Spring 2009
The Fresh Faces show was a great entrance for both designers to take a bow and really get noticed for the upcoming seasons. The statement jewelry,
ShopSamanthaHouse.com, really stood out on the CRHEE dresses and against the au natural canvas of models. This dynamic duo even got together after the show and showed their lines to interested parties, keep your eye out for these show stoppers!
