I can't see a pair of Chloe jeans without instantly thinking of Plum Sykes's Bergdorf Blondes. The main character was infatuated with Chloe jeans and mentioned them at least once every other chapter. Although I'm crazy obsessed with designer jeans, I have never owned a pair of Chloe. But, I'm intrigued. If Chloe jeans are special enough to be repeatedly mentioned in a book that name drops every hip restaurant in greater Manhattan and counts Anna Wintour in the official acknowledgements, they must be pretty great, right?
