Chunky, clunky and super tall heels are making a big entrance-- and its time to snag a pair! I love how these dramatic heels give you extra height and have become snazzier over time with the extra accents. Everything from studs to different fun flares are giving big heels some major appeal. The height may be a concern for some, so just get your feet ready for the height with flats during the day or some Foot Petals to relieve the pain. But, once your see your legs in these tall masterpieces, I’m sure you will forget about the pain!

My first pick is the Mayana from Steve Madden. I like the simplicity of the round toe shoe, and admire the sex appeal it gives off with the patent leather. There are several studs around the toe that diversify it from the rest of the round toed shoes on the market. As chunky as these shoes are, they have a feminine slender heel that off sets the rough rigid look. Black patent leather, studs and 4.5” heel on a .75” platform-- hello tall legs!

These Dania Shimmer Bow Leather Pumps from Bebe are more on the adorable side. Still sexy, they are a bit flirtier and a little less rock star than the Steve Madden shoes. I love the slender tall heel on this pair as well. But, my favorite aspect of these shoes is the hard-to-miss bow directly on top of the shoe-- it gives it style and instant sass, without overwhelming the shoe. I have actually tried these shoes on and, according to my feet, they are tolerable to walk in.

I may be dreaming, but for some ladies these Louis Vuitton vampy white patent leather Apple Open-Toe Pumps can be a reality. It is so difficult to find nice classy white pumps... I used to have one amazing pair in my shoe collection and my dog chewed off the heel! Louis Vuitton did a great job with this shoe, but what really impresses me is the invisible stitching that making these shoes impeccable and refined. The gold logo and ruffles give it elegance and sophistication. Although the heel is as tall as the Steve Madden shoes, these will be more comfortable because the heel is chunkier, making it easier to stand in due to the fact that there will be less pressure put on the ball of the foot. These shoes are a hard find-- I give this pair 2 big thumbs up!

Remember to get your feet ready and pampered in order to flaunt these shoes with some attitude. And please practice walking in new shoes before wearing them out-- nothing is worse then seeing a friend staggering into a room, and you know she hasn’t even had a drink yet. Don’t be her.
