Given both the commercial and critical success of Gwen Stefani's L.A.M.B. shoe line, I'm a little surprised it took so long to get the more affordable Harajuku Lovers shoe line right. After a brief foray into the streetwear sneakers genre, and a smart second thought, Harajuku Lovers Shoes is now re-launching with a line that is befitting of its role as L.A.M.B.'s sassy younger sister.
Available exclusively at Heels.com for the next three weeks, the refashioned Harajuku Lovers Shoes features fun and flirty styles that are just right for spring. And there's not a sneaker in sight. My personal favorite is the sling-back espadrille "Liberty" pump. It's a fresh take on the warm weather staple shoe. The line also includes pom-pom festooned flat sandals, ribbon-tie wedge espadrilles and adorable rope-detail wedge sandals. Very cute.
