When I think of perfect work appropriate labels that are also ultra chic, I automatically think Theory. From their fabulous pants to their super slim sweaters and dress shirts, Theory is pretty much the expert at flattering work clothes. In fact, I wore a Theory "Aniston" dress shirt to work just yesterday! If you're a fellow member of the Theory fan club, you're going to love this.
Nordstrom.com just added 11 new Theory items to their sale section and each piece is marked 40% off retail price. The selection includes pants, skirts, dresses, sweaters and refined tees. It's a hard call, but my pick of the pack is this Theory "Liddita Tailor" Skirt. Sure, it's not the flashiest of the sale items-- there's a pixelated floral dress that's to die for-- but it just feels like a must buy. The inverted pleats are preppy-chic in a very Blair Waldorf kind of way and the slightly exaggerated a-line silhouette is fashiony without feeling too outrageous for even a very conservative workplace. It's perfect for pairing with a crisp button down for spring.
