I have written about tight sexy dresses, clutches and cardigans before, but this time my standout picks are in citrus shades-- sexy overload! Why not liven up an outfit with a touch of a bright color, or wear a nice lime green dress? Exactly. That's why these choices aren't just an article standout-- they will make you the standout and a knockout! With every color there is a price to pay, so with citrus colors you want to make sure not to wear an obscene amount of bright makeup, unless you're Barbie of course.
My tight dress pick is a sexy one shoulder dress that incorporates a lot of sophistication. The
Basix Lime Green One Shoulder Sequin Dress is 100% silk chiffon, which adds a beautiful stylish flow to the dress. This girly dress is a mini, but it’s balanced out with the covered high one shoulder style. The one shoulder has a light glossy rhinestone beaded accent. I may have mentioned this before, but I'm not a big fan of one shoulder dresses on big-chested women-- it makes their shoulders look wider and takes away from the style of the dress. No offense big-chested women, I'm one of you. I wish I could pull this dress off. If you can, buy it!
For those of you who have no tolerance and excitement for tight minis, or are big-chested, there is always this cutesy
Glorinha Paranagua Straw Clutch with Bamboo Button bag. It fits the essentials and it comes in adorable warm weather tones. I recommend the yellow or green. I think the soft texture and the hand woven straw is a great addition to a light summery outfit. The clutch closes with a sassy bamboo closure and has accented crocodile. It also has a fully lined interior and a small pocket for the cell phone!
At last, let’s talk cardigan! This yellow and white
Tracy Reese Appliqué Cardigan is very feminine and classy. It's a cardigan that doesn't scream grandma! It’s a shorter worn cardigan and looks lovely (as pictured) over a white top or something bold like turquoise or lime green! The cardigan's got a funky criss-cross design on the front with lace. The lace is sheer and a creamish color, allowing room to play with different colors and fabrics. The big pasty yellow rounded buttons are consistent with the funky lace look and finish off the cardigan beautifully.
Just like a vodka drink tastes and looks better with a splash and slice of lime, so will you!
