Here's the thing about cowl neck tops, they can vibe a little dowdy. I've found very few that don't remind me of a schoolteacher from the '70s. But, I just stumbled upon this brand new cowl neck top that's actually quite chic.
The brand new AIKO Dahl Cowl Neck Top is made from a super soft fleece-- a blend of supima cotton, modal and cotton. That alone makes this a less-than-ordinary cowl neck top. I'm also loving the proportion of this cowl neck-- the slim sleeves paired with the asymmetrical hem and ultra deep cowl creates a striking silhouette.
A daring fashionista could sport this top sans underpinnings for a nighttime look. But, I prefer to think of this top as an antidote to boring weekend pullovers. I'd pull it on over one of my fave C&C California Bold Tanks for a slouchy, yet fashionable look.
