Yes, the Alexander Wang Addison Boot is tall -- a 5.5" stacked heel, tempered by a 1.5" platform. But, it's hardly the tallest boot in the store this season. Nevertheless, these boots scream long and lean. It's the vertical stitching detail that runs from the arch to the top of the boot. It's the super straight lines of the heel. It's the curve of the back of the boot, which suggests an exaggerated arch. The whole package combines to create a look that is, well, tall. I'd love to see these fabulous boots paired with dark skinny jeans -- if you weren't born with mile-long legs, this is a very stylish way to fake it.
