Launching today -- June 15, 2011 -- at online designer boutique Net-A-Porter, is the limited edition Coach Classics Collection. This collection is comprised of five gorgeous handbags that have been selected for their timelessness, quality of craftsmanship and history. Each of these iconic styles was originally introduced by Coach in the 1970s, and have had only limited availability over the past few decades. With the rise of the current '70s style trend on the runways and in stores, Net-A-Porter's buying director, Holli Rogers, knew that this was the right time to bring back these classic handbags.
Pictured here is the collection, including the Madison Satchel, the Stewardess Bag, the Duffle, the Shoulder Purse and the Field bag. The color palette includes classic Coach colors like British Tan, Mahogany, Navy, Red and Black. Prices range from $298 for the Shoulder Purse to $498 for the Field Bag.
"It's a testament to Coach's enduring appeal that these designs are as relevant today as they were 30 years ago. While they complement the current trend in fashion of a wide-leg denim jean paired with a great stacked-heeled sandal, these bags are so versatile, they will look smart with practically any daytime look," says Rogers.
