At the Oscars, many celebs wore one-shoulder dresses, and they made the right choice because these dresses allowed the celebs to reveal just the right amount of skin. Even JLo toned down her look, especially when compared to the obnoxious and daring outfits she usually wears. Finally, she seemed to learn the lesson that sometimes less is more.

Like Angelina’s sexy slit, flirty one-shoulder pieces tend to reoccur every year. Although I don’t personally embrace this trend -- I love it on others but not on myself -- I love seeing this trend on confident women like Cameron Diaz because, besides having toned arms, she always makes everything look effortless.

One-shoulder dresses are the perfect choice for those who want to keep themselves from overheating as the weather warms. Recently, BCBG became my number one stop for new items because I believe their clothing is on top of all the trends. I have been obsessed with their clothes. I have even bought three dresses in just the last month because, with feminine and flirty designs, they were hard to pass up.

If you are tall and slender, then this next cutting dress edge will suit you. With this purplish dress, you’ll exude as much style as Jacqueline Kennedy.
