In my mind, the list of fashion neutrals goes something like this: black, white, beige, grey, snakeskin... Ok, it's a little unconventional, but now that you think about it, it makes sense, right? Most snakeskin prints that attempt to approximate reality (or actual reality, if you're ready to spend some bucks), are comprised of a handful of neutral colors that are mottled together in a reptilian pattern. It really does go with everything.
Enter these Kate Spade Kiki Wedges in Python Print. They have a great shape, totally manageable 3.5" wedge heel, and a pretty gold wash that adds just enough "special" to make them a whole lot of fun to wear. They're leather, so you are getting a quality shoe, but with a fun touch of metallic.
I think these could easily go to work -- no one is going to see the metallic unless they are really looking for it. They'd be perfect for a more casual outfit, too. The Kate Spade site suggests "black ciggies and a chunky knit sweater", which would be adorable. Finally, if you really want the metallic to stand out, try matching them up with a metallic gold pencil skirt for a night out on the town. Fabulous.
