Top Pick: Zara Tropical Printed Trousers

I adore the printed trousers trend, I'm just not ready to commit to an investment-priced pair. I'm not convinced that this trend will be sticking around long enough for me to get an appropriate price-per-wear out of them (ahh, gotta love fashion math). I first spotted these trousers, or a very close sibling pair, on San Francisco-based style blogger Anh of 9to5 Chic. As soon as I saw them, I knew they were perfect for the commitment-phobic fashionista who still wants to give the stand-out printed pant look a try.

While these Zara Printed Trousers are colorful, the colors are not outrageous. The actual tones are quite subdued and there are a lot of neutrals in the prints -- browns, olives and beiges. These pants would pair really well with a lot of different solid color tops, from casual tee shirts to dressier button-downs and blouses. Really, you could wear them all summer to both daytime and evening events by simply changing the top and accessories. And the price is definitely right.
