Since my last perfume review was successful, I was eager to see how Roberto Cavalli’s Just Cavalli eau de toilette would perform. I love Cavalli as a designer, and I have always been a fan of his clothes due to his attentiveness to the curvier girl; however, I had never experienced any of his scents until they sent me Just Cavalli.
As mentioned in my previous fragrance review, I am a tough perfume critic, so I am always nervous when it comes to a review. I was fortunate last time, so I didn’t know if my lucky streak would persist. Plus, who wants to walk around smelling bad?
If first impressions are truly lasting ones, then the Just Cavalli sexy snake print package left a lasting impression with me. Overall, Just Cavalli is a sexy, spicy scent for a bold woman. It’s not a light scent for the office, or for the gal who wants to make a small impression when it comes to leaving a scent.
Just Cavalli is a big scent and I enjoyed it. It definitely matches my personality. When I say bold, I don’t mean its smells cheap and overpowering, but it’s provocative and may not be for everyone. I definitely liked it and I would recommend it to friends.
I wore the scent a couple days in a row and sprayed it on my wrists and behind my ear. I wanted to see if I could get comfortable with it. The scent lasted, but lost a bit of potency as the day progressed. The bitter orange, Tahitian tiare flower and grounded palissander wood accord contribute to its powerful smell.
For a different perspective, I asked my mom to wear the Just Cavalli scent for a day because she attends different social functions than I. To my surprise, my mother loved the perfume. I didn’t think it was a smell her demographic would gravitate towards, but apparently her social circle gave it two thumbs up.
Depending what kind of scents attract you, this may be a great option for you. Similar to Dolce & Gabbana’s Pour Femme perfume, Just Cavalli is seductive and induces desire.
