Not every woman can pull of the teal blue teddy bear look. I get that. But this shaggy sweater is just too much fun to ignore. If you are tall and slim, this will pair well with skinny trousers or a pencil skirt and booties. If you’re not, please walk away from the shag.

I can’t resist adding one impractical item to the mix. This silk and velvet gown was one of the truly memorable pieces from the fall line. It’s gorgeous, and completely appropriate if you attend black-tie functions and have enough disposable income to warrant investing in a dress so stand-out that you can probably only pull off wearing it once a year within the same social group.
