A slouchy silk blouse is one of my favorite go-to wardrobe items year-round. It’s a versatile piece that looks just as fabulous with boyfriend jeans and flats as it does with elegant trousers and heels. Plus, there are few things as comfy as a loose-fitting silk shirt.
For this week’s Under $100 post I spent some time browsing my favorite online outlets and sale sections to find serious deals on 100% silk blouses from top contemporary labels. Here are my favorite sale priced finds…
My absolute favorite find is this Theory blouse. The fluidity of the silk is offset nicely by the military-style epaulets and oversized single chest pocket. It’s interesting and kind of downtown-cool.

This Halston Heritage shirt, in rich eggplant, is a more classic take on the silk blouse. The deep v-neck is not exactly work appropriate in its current state, but you could add a camisole for day and then remove the cami for instant cocktail attire.
→ Buy the Halston Heritage Long Sleeve Silk Blouse, $78.00 (was $325.00), at bluefly.com.
I’m not usually one for bright colors, but I’m really into the juicy orange-red shade of this Joie blouse. Close inspection reveals that the pattern is created from tiny open dots, which adds visual interest but isn't as precious as little polka dots.
→ Buy the Joie Page Printed Silk Blouse, $88.79 (was $238.00), at saksoff5th.com.
The convertible sleeves on this jade green blouse are great for wearing from spring, to summer, to fall. Plus, it can be tucked in for a formal work environment, or worn out for a more casual outfit. Super multi-useful.
→ Buy the Lafayette 148 Sheena Convertible Sleeve Blouse, $83.50 (was $348.00), at bluefly.com.
I couldn’t resist featuring this snake print silk blouse. I’m such a sucker for snake print, plus the golden olive colors in this particular print feel kind of unique and fun.
