Loving This Week: Silk Jumpsuit + Fashion for Your FitBit
Monday, January 26, 2015
This week I finally found a stylish way to rock a FitBit. A pair of local San Francisco fashionistas – one from Gap, one from Bloomie’s – started an Indiegogo campaign to fund a line of downtown-chic FitBit bracelets and pendants. It made my week. I’m so excited.
Check out all of the finds that made their way into my online shopping cart this week…
1. Emerson Fry Sabbia Shirt Hem Dress, $98.00 (was $248.00)
This sale-priced find from Emerson Fry would fit well in just about any wardrobe. The clean lines suit my minimalist-leaning personal style perfectly, but it would also be a smart classic addition to any well-assembled wardrobe. The sale price is fantastic, and it’s still available in a wide range of sizes.
2. Milly Stretch Silk Jumpsuit, $425.00
I’m calling it now: the silk jumpsuit is this season’s little black dress. Everything about this look is of the moment, from the cropped hem to the slit back. I can’t imagine a more perfect going out look for spring.
3. Net-a-Porter Beauty The Valentine’s Kit, $65.00
Exclusive to upscale online shopping destination Net-a-Porter, this beauty kit features a fabulous selection of luxury products at an excellent price. It’s allegedly Valentine’s themed, but the holiday’s influence stops at the name. The contents are perfect for any beauty lover, year-round. Featured labels include Charlotte Tilbury, Bamford, LAFCO, Jurlique, Eyeko, and Serge Normant.
4. Bezels & Bytes Basketweave Single Wrap FitBit Bracelet, $78.00
I love my FitBit, but I hate the industrial rubber bracelet it fits inside. I thought the Tory Burch FitBit collaboration was going to save me from the rubber bracelet, but I found the designs too logo-heavy-prepster for my taste. I was in a FitBit fashion funk, then I ran across this Indiegogo campaign for Bezels & Bytes. They’re creating FitBit bracelets and pendants from black leather and 12k gold plated metal that have a downtown-chic vibe. I’m in love. I snapped up the Basketweave Single Wrap Bracelet pictured her without hesitation.
5. Sydney Brown High Crepe Boot, $420.00
Argh, I’m just a sucker for sleek flat black boots. What caught my eye about this new pair is the foldover Velcro closure and the crepe rubber soles. They’re unique, which means I can totally justify adding them to my growing black boot collection. Right?
