This week I wanted to make a point of visiting some of my favorite online stores that I haven’t dropped by in a while, like Sandro and All Saints. The result is a couple of fabulous sale finds that I would have otherwise missed, and one seriously cool white button down shirt.
Here’s what’s happening in my online shopping cart this week…
1. Sandro Rickie Pleated Midi Dress, $247.50 (was $495.00)
This midi dress strikes me as an effortless blend of elegance and modernity. The fabric strip upper portion shows just enough skin to balance out the otherwise quite demure silhouette, and the pleated skirt is oh-so-trendy. I’d pair this with simple black strappy heels for a gorgeous, sophisticated look.
2. All Saints Itat Shrug, $70.00 (was $140.00)
A simple cotton shrug is such a useful wardrobe addition, and this All Saints version has some great little details that make it a particularly nice acquisition. You can wear it either with a crossed front detail, or pull that crossed fabric over your head to create a back keyhole detail. It’s on sale in this charcoal color, or available at full price in three other neutral shades.
3. Madewell The Transport Tote, $168.00
I am one of those people who carry a pile of stuff to work each day in a basic canvas tote. This affordable leather version would be a clear upgrade, but without the constant worry that comes from carrying a high-end designer tote. I can’t help but think this bag would actually look better and better as it ages and gets a little wear on it.
4. Pamela Love Sterling Silver Bird Talon Ring, $325.00
I love shiny baubles as much as the next girl, but I find most jewelry a little too precious for my taste. This textured and highly detailed talon-shaped silver ring has just the right mix of luxury and sinister edge. It vibes a little Edgar Allan Poe, and I like that.
5. Rachel Comey Zanzibar Shirt, $276.00
This is the coolest take on the basic white button down I’ve seen in ages. It’s so fabulous, I’m nearly positive it will sell out before it ever gets a single markdown. That very chic sculptural collar is paired with a back panel design that creates a subtle peek-a-boo effect. It’s perfection, really.
