Eyelet has never been my favorite fabric, but it sure is a perfect fit for warm weather daytime functions.
Sometimes it is hard to find something to wear that looks and feels casual. Eyelet is hassle-free because it goes nicely with sandals or wedges for a Sunday bbq and poolside function. The carefree and breezy fabric doesn’t just have to be used to make curtains. Here’s a one-stop shop for a few trendy eyelet pieces…
This lovely blue eyelet dress is different from most because the zipper gives it a sexy flair. The length also allows you to wear this dress to work, as long as you leave the zipper all the way up, and it is nice to know you can change your look whenever you decide to unzip just a bit.

Getting back to the white… This white sheath dress is a classic. The crewneck sleeveless dress is a sophisticated, yet casual, warm weather option. This dress is versatile because of its great color and style. Try adding a ruffle sweater or a nice long flowy cardigan to tap into your creative side.

If you need a little swing in you step, then this traditional skirt is appropriate for you. It comes in black and tan and will pair well with a simple tank top. I like this skirt style in eyelet fabric. Even though this skirt is conservative, the eyelet gives it a fun twist. Find a cool belt to finish this look off beautifully. The type of top you chose would determine the belt you should wear, but I think a thick bold statement belt completes this look the best.

I saved my favorite eyelet piece of clothing for last. This Free People off the shoulder top is amazing. It is breezy because it is made from cotton, and it’s a flirty top you can pair with a good old boring pair of jeans. Spice up that long flowy skirt with this top and pair it with some charming accessories to execute an effortless bohemian look.
