Loving This Week: A Breezy Chambray Skirt + Summer Accessories
Monday, June 29, 2015
I’ve never been great at summer accessorizing. I’m much more of a fall and winter kind of person, so my summer looks tend to be more minimalist. But, this week, I’ve found some summer accessories that pique my interest. I also found a fabulously simple chambray skirt that is summer perfect.
Check out all of my favorite online shopping finds from this week…
1. Eileen Fisher Gathered Chambray Skirt, $168.00
This pull-on black wash chambray skirt has a breezy, comfy vibe that is exactly what a person needs on a really hot summer day. I’d wear it with a slouchy white tee and ugly-chic sandals of the Birkenstock variety.
2. S’well Smoky Quartz 9oz. Water Bottle, $25.00
This chic, minimalist water bottle is crafted from double-walled stainless steel and has a vacuum seal with a screw top. As if the stylish look wasn’t enough to make this my new favorite water bottle, it keeps beverages hot for up to 12 hours or cold for up to 24 hours, making it a smart accessory for winter or summer.
3. Jeffrey Campbell Vionnet Loafer, $100.00
Point toe loafers feel very old school European to me. These new affordable nude loafers have the requisite elegant vibe, at a great price. The tiny white stacked heel and sole adds a modern touch.
4. Illesteva Holly Sunglasses, $299.00
An of-the-moment oversized cat eye shape paired with classic tortoise shell acetate makes for a stunning pair of sunglasses.
5. Azalea Bluxome Gauzy Scarf, $42.00
When the warm weather sets in, it’s my winter scarves I miss the most. There’s something so cozy about wearing a mini security blanket around your neck. This ultra-lightweight gauze scarf translates the winter staple accessory into a summer-appropriate fabric. I’m sold.
