Loving This Week: Cropped Blues + a Polished Pintuck Dress
Monday, July 06, 2015
I can think of few items that would feel as exquisitely perfect for a warm summer workday as this Trademark white pintuck dress I found a few months ago. It went on sale recently, making it even more perfect, if that’s even possible. In other shopping news this week, I ran across a bargain-priced pair of cropped pants in floaty lightweight denim that are so incredibly versatile.
Here are all of the great finds taking up room in my online shopping cart this week…
1. Trademark Pintuck Dress, $328.80 (was $548.00)
I’ve been hopelessly in love with this dress since it was a new arrival. Now that it’s on the sale rack, my love has only deepened. The relaxed minimalist look is a refreshingly modern way to do officewear, while the intricate pintuck detail, shell buttons, and back box pleat demonstrate the dress’s high quality construction.
2. Black Crane Cocoon Dress, $200.00
This relaxed linen dress looks like a summer weekend to me. There’s no way this isn’t insanely comfortable, even on muggy days.
3. Farrow Joni Pants, $68.00
These lightweight cropped pants have the versatility of denim, without the weight. These pants will look great on weekends with sandals or sneakers, but could also work for the workweek with a dressier top and shoes combo. The fluidity of the drape adds just enough fanciness to dress up nicely.
4. Isabel Marant Etoile Belden Sweatshirt, call for pricing
Ok, so it’s not even remotely the right time of year to buy a new designer sweatshirt. But, I couldn’t pass up the chance to point out this new Isabel Marant find. The tucked and draped front creates almost a wrap effect. So chic.
5. Massimo Dutti Striped Overshirt, $49.90 (was $89.50)
This popover shirt is an upgraded version of the warm weather staple blue striped white shirt. The Mandarin collar, deep v-neck, variated stripes, and contrast hem add up to a unique take on the classic. Plus, it’s on sale.
