Loving This Week: Shorty Jeans + a Cashmere Steal
Monday, August 24, 2015
The new fall arrivals are steadily rolling into the stores, but that doesn’t mean there aren’t a few smart sale finds still lurking about. This week I found a high-quality Duffy cashmere sweater marked more than half off!
I’m also shopping for summer-to-fall transition pieces, like a new Vanessa Bruno dress that will legitimately look just as good with strappy sandals as with opaque tights and pumps. Check out all of my favorite shopping finds of the week…
1. Vanessa Bruno Delta Contrast-Stitch Crepe Dress, $547.00
This new summer-to-fall dress is striking in its simplicity, like the best of higher-end fashions. I particularly love the vertical stripes with their fall coloring and flattering placement. It will look great now with sandals, and later with black tights and round-toe pumps.
2. Duffy Cashmere Sweater, $140.40 (was $312.00)
I’m a sucker for sale-priced cashmere year-round, but the lure is particularly hard to resist as fall gets closer – as the weather gets cooler, the good looking cheap cashmere seems to evaporate from the stores. This slouchy, mid-weight cashmere will layer beautifully all through fall and winter and the price is fabulous.
3. All Saints Elis Cowl Jumper, $140.00
Speaking of summer-to-fall and easy layering, it doesn’t get much better than this short sleeve sweater. It will look smart with a pencil skirt for work or with boyfriend jeans for the weekend, and the addition of a long sleeve tee or slim sweater will make it cozy for cooler days.
4. A.P.C. Sac Demi-Lune, $440.00
Beige leather with gold detail vibes luxe, as does the structured shape. The smaller size and shoulder strap will be ideal for nights, weekends, and travel.
5. 6397 Shorty Jean, $325.00
I’m new to the 6397 label, but I have a feeling I’m going to be a big fan. I love the combination of a super relaxed fit with a dressy dark denim wash. These jeans will look great with chunky sweaters this fall.
