Under $100: The Oversized Clutch

The oversized clutch is one of fall’s new designer handbag trends, with big names like Lanvin and Valentino each offering their own take on the silhouette. It’s also one of the most wearable new bag trends. A large clutch is a more useful alternative to the tiny bag for evening and a sleek look for daytime events, plus it’s one-size-fits-all.

But, how much do you really want to pay for a trend that isn’t going to get a lot of playing time? The above-mentioned Lanvin and Valentino options are $1,750.00 and $2,375.00, respectively. If you’re interested in trying on the oversized clutch trend without coughing up a ton of dough, read on. I’ve found six supersized clutches that will each set you back $100 or less.

First up, this slim roll top clutch won’t allow you to pack a lot of bulky items, but it will create a sleek look when paired with fall’s chunky knits. The inexpensive faux leather construction won’t last more than a few seasons, but at this amazing price that shouldn’t bum you out too much.
