Loving This Week: Face Mask Fun + a Holiday Fashion Steal
Monday, November 09, 2015
I can’t believe it’s November already. The holiday season is here, and that means it’s time to start thinking about what to wear to all of those parties and get-togethers. This week, I have an affordable dress find that will go a long way towards solving that problem.
In other shopping news, I’m all about investing in minimalist pieces that will wear beautifully for years to come. A pair of Jil Sander trousers and a simple Maison Margiela ring both fit the bill.
Take a look at all of the finds in my online shopping cart this week…
1. Jil Sander Vincio Cropped Wool Trouser, $710.00
These trousers are a perfect example of why Jil Sander is every minimalist-leaning fashionista’s dream label. The old school luxury of 100% Italian wool meets a modern cropped, flared fit and the result is gorgeous. These pants will add a spark of fashion-forward to a classic fall wardrobe.
2. Sephora Favorites Beauty Unmasked Collection, $38.00 ($84.00 value)
Remember last week, when I mentioned how much I’m loving the new Sephora holiday kits? This face mask kit is another one on my must-buy list. The selection of six face masks includes options to clear pores, purify, and brighten from labels including Origins, GlamGLow, and Algenist. So much fun.
3. Birkenstock Arizona Sandals in Black Shearling, $145.00
What’s more comfortable than a pair of iconic Birkenstock sandals? Those same sandals lined in cozy shearling. While not appropriate for all winter climates, they’ll look great with cropped jeans and chunky sweaters in mild weather locales.
4. Maison Margiela Silver/ Brass Two Tone Signet Ring, $290.00
I’m loving this cool downtown take on the preppy staple signet ring. The silver and brass combination will go with any accessory color scheme and the shape, while clearly modern, is still simple enough to stand the test of time.
5. Maggy London Illusion Yoke Crepe Sheath Dress, $148.00
Whether we’re ready or not, the holidays are here and that means a crush of parties and occasions that call for dressing up. This standout black dress is an ideal find for the season. The cut is demure enough to wear to work parties, but not the least bit dowdy, and could be changed up a bit with different accessories for different occasions. Plus, the price is outstanding and it has an amazing 4.6 out of 5 rating at Nordstrom with 168 reviews. Seems like a holiday fashion no-brainer to me.
