This is definitely one of those iconic sales that fashion lovers wait for all year, and for good reason. The discounts are deep, particularly on contemporary and designer labels, and the goods are hardly one-offs. In fact, many of the best deals are on current season merchandise.
My favorite strategy is to head straight to the contemporary section. This is where you'll find labels like Vince, Rag & Bone, Burberry Brit, Paige, and J Brand. Here the discounts hover around 40%, and the sale items include the best jeans, outerwear, and shoes.
Today I'm focusing on the standout shoe deals. These aren't necessarily the lowest priced shoes in the sale. But, they are very high quality, interesting silhouettes that you might not consider at full price, and each is substantially discounted. And, before you get all upset about the mediocre discount on the Jimmy Choo kitten heels... this label hardly ever goes on sale, and you never find their classic black pumps marked down. I think any discount on basic black Jimmy Choos is fantastic.
