Loving This Week: a Layering Turtleneck + Chic Notecards
Monday, December 28, 2015
Now that the holiday season is drawing to a close, spring options are sure to start flooding the stores. To prepare, I’m looking to a slim turtleneck that will add a warm layer to early spring buys. In less wearable, but no less fashionable, news: a set of chic notecards that will surely help with that “stay in touch” resolution.
Here are all of the shopping finds that turned my head this week…
1. Black Crane Reversible Poncho, $255.00
This lightweight cotton/ wool blend poncho is an ideal layering piece for spring travel. It comes in two classic color combinations to double the wear potential, and has a relaxed fit that will be comfy on long flights.
2. Parisian Enamel Locket, $128.00
This simple locket, crafted in France by Parisian artist Emilie Despeaux, comes in six pretty neutral colors. Each locket features gold-plated brass hardware with an enamel case, which will be beautiful paired with minimalist basics.
3. Chosungah 22 Dong Gong Minn Brow Maker, $22.00
Please meet the newest Korean beauty line to hit the States: Chosungah 22. You’ll be hearing a lot about this brand in the coming months, as the label becomes more widely available. This all-in-one brow filler and tamer is already getting rave reviews in the glossies and beauty blogs. I can’t wait to give it a try.
4. Rifle Paper Co. Friends Flat Notes + Envelopes, $22.00
Created in partnership with renowned French street style photographer and illustrator Garance Doré, these chic notecards from Rifle Paper Co. will instantly up my snail mail game.
5. Everlane The Wool Ribbed Turtleneck, $85.00
This slim fitting wool turtleneck is the thin layering turtleneck I’ve been searching for. It’s not as heavy as cashmere, but a definite step up from cotton, and will transform early spring buys into winter-appropriate options.
