Just when you thought you’d never wear another logo tee again…
I feel you. I grew up during the height of logo mania. In high school, I’m not sure I even owned an article of clothing that didn’t feature a prominent visible logo. Guess, Z. Cavaricci, Esprit, B.U.M. Equipment, Benetton, and CK Calvin Klein were some of my favorites. As soon as the ’90s were over I happily banished logos from my closet.
Fast-forward to present. The newest trend in designer logo tees is a graphic, black and white, faux-punk look that is oddly appealing to this minimalist. Paired with a black blazer, wide leg jeans, and pair of Saint Laurent pumps, these tees start to feel street style fresh. Could we be on the verge of a return of the logo? Check out these ten new finds and let me know what you think.
