Loving This Week: Modern Flats + a Denim Kimono Jacket
Monday, March 07, 2016
Regular exfoliation is the easiest way to noticeably improve your complexion. But, if not done just right, scrubbing up can leave skin dry and irritated. Astonishingly, there is this scrub from Goldfaden MD that actually leaves your skin super plump and hydrated without any extra effort. It’s amazing. Love it.
In fashion news, I’m being shopping-haunted by this amazing Lauren Manoogian skirt. It’s seriously following me around the internet. It wants me to buy it sooo bad.
Check out all of my favorite online shopping finds for the week…
1. Lauren Manoogian Rib Skirt, $250.00
I’ve seen this new skirt in a few different online shops and each time I’m struck with how much I like the silhouette. It reminds me a bit of the “paperbag” pants that were popular in the mid-‘90s, but somehow less fussy. The waist-defining cut will be a great look for those of us who have a more ruler-like body shape.
2. Leccare Lollipops 20-pc Edible Flower Lollipop Assortment, $24.00
Easter is fast approaching, and these beautiful handmade lollies are the perfect addition to a grown-up Easter basket. The assortment features four flavors, each of which includes freshly ground edible flowers: marigold & vanilla, lavender & marshmallow, rose & honey, and marshmallow & hibiscus. Delish.
3. Goldfaden MD Doctor’s Scrub, $75.00
This face scrub is another fabulous product I got the chance to try when I won Space NK’s 10k Instagram Followers Giveaway back in December. It’s totally worth the investment. A dime-sized dollop exfoliates like a dream and, miraculously, leaves your face more hydrated than when you started. The end result is insta-gorgeous, glowing skin. I will be re-purchasing.
4. M. Gemi The Ora Flats, $228.00
These new modern leather flats, also available in ruby red and black, look like Acne Studios at about half the cost. They’re the perfect accompaniment to minimalist spring looks.
5. Current/Elliott The Kimono Denim Jacket, $278.00
Just when you think that every permutation of the jean jacket have been tried, along comes a totally new take on the classic wardrobe essential. This kimono-shaped jacket will add a cool touch to any outfit, but I’m particularly loving the idea of wearing it with a tee and pencil skirt for a dressy-casual Friday office look.
