Loving This Week: Crop Jeans + Vacation Sandals
Monday, June 13, 2016
This week I have summer travel on the brain. I’m so ready to get out of town. Without even trying, I managed to add three travel-ready picks to my weekly round-up. Elsewhere, my ongoing search for the season’s best denim now has a frontrunner.
Check out all of my top shopping picks for the week…
1. Citizens of Humanity Cora High Rise Crop Jean, $228.00
After much consideration, I feel that I have finally found my favorite new summer denim. I pinned two different washes of this same jean within minutes, without realizing it was the exact same jean. I take that as a sign. This darker wash is running in first place, but the lighter wash version is also quite fabulous.
2. J.Crew Seaside Pant, $89.50
This new linen-blend pull-on pant looks perfect for summer travel. It’s more polished than sweats, but I suspect it will feel just about as comfy. It’s also machine washable, available in three colors and three lengths, and super affordable. Like I said, perfect.
3. Maison Kitsuné Ecru Canvas Palais Royale Tote, $62.00 (was $80.00)
Since I seem to have summer travel on the brain… This sale find tote will make for a smart travel tote. It’s also a good choice for schlepping work necessities or taking to the weekend farmer’s market.
4. Seoul Little West Coast Necklace, $58.00
I spotted this little charm necklace in the new arrivals section at Azalea, one of my favorite San Francisco shopping haunts. I’m more than a little partial to west coast living, so it’s fitting.
5. M.Gemi The Attorno Sandal, $228.00
This new release sandal from M.Gemi pairs city-chic strappy vacchetta leather upper with a walkable block heel. Do I even need to mention that it’s perfect for vacation?
