Loving This Week: Mott and Bow Jeans + Hærfest Handbags
Monday, August 08, 2016
This week’s picks are all about the new. New labels, new styles, and new fall finds. Doesn’t it always feel great to be the first to “discover” a new find?
Check out all of my favorite shopping finds for the week…
1. Hærfest Eva Tote, $495.00
This new New York-based label, designed by brothers Tim and Dan Joo, is one of the current CFDA Fashion Incubator labels. The program’s mission is to help grow and sustain promising fledgling fashion businesses, and this line of minimalist bags is showing every indication of being worthy of the honor. I love the beautiful grey leather and straightforward design. It’s perfect for the workweek.
2. Nimma Jet Necklace, $980.00
I find the combination of gold and black diamonds intoxicating. It’s a look as seductive as wearing head-to-toe black, and lends itself particularly well to delicate designs. This appealing double bar necklace features 16 pave natural black diamonds on a 14k gold chain.
3. Valentino Love Latch Pointy Toe Flats, $795.00
I’m so over Rockstuds. This Love Latch design is the new must-have Valentino in my book. Downtown-chic with just a touch of comfort by way of an elasticized topline. Perfection.
4. Mott & Bow Slim Boyfriend Ludlow Jeans, $96.00
This new-ish denim label was founded on the premise of delivering premium jeans at a reasonable price. They just started producing women’s jeans this year. I haven’t seen a pair in person yet, but early reviews are beyond positive and this pair of Ludlow jeans are adorable.
5. Vince Sleeveless Turtleneck, $295.00
I know, it’s a little early to be obsessing over fall fashions. But, this modern funnel neck from Vince has already caught my eye. It’s crafted from a cozy wool-cashmere blend and has barely perceptible ribbing that adds to the modern look. It will be perfect for fall.
