Last week I attempted to talk my manicurist into giving me a stark white manicure. She wasn’t going for it. “It will turn yellow,” she said, “as soon as you get lotion on it.” Argh. Fine. So much for my summery white manicure dreams. This week I found a warm off-white shade that will give the same vibe, without the discoloration fears.

1. Massimo Dutti Green Asymmetric Dress, $150.00
This is the summer special occasion dress of my dreams. It’s beautiful and breezy. The grass green color is sumptuous. And the price is low enough that you won’t feel bad when you spill a glass of red wine on it at your fifth wedding of the summer.
2. ALEXACHUNG I Love You I Hate You Shirt, $320.00
The product copy says it all: “This poplin shirt is relaxed fit, easy-iron and perfectly passive aggressive.” Click through for the close-up. It’s my favorite piece from Alexa Chung’s debut.
3. Jenny Bird Cleo Ear Cuff (Set of Three), $50.00
I’ll admit, I’m probably partial to the ear cuff trend because I don’t have pierced ears. But, I’m clearly not the only one who loves the look. Ear cuffs are everywhere. This is a flawlessly minimalist starter set. It includes one each 14K gold-dipped brass, sterling silver-dipped brass, and rose gold-dipped brass.
4. Butter London + Pantone Nail Lacquer in Buttercream, $7.00 (was $10.00)
This pale, warm off-white shade is exactly what you need when you want a white manicure, but remember that pretty much every white polish starts to yellow after a few days.
5. Rag & Bone Eau de Parfum Sampler Box, $95.00
I’m addicted to sampler boxes from high-end fragrance lines. I have such a hard time committing to a single scent. The purchase anxiety is compounded when a single bottle will set you back $140. Samplers let you try a bunch of scents for usually less than the price of a single bottle. This Rag & Bone sampler features all eight of the line’s fragrances: Amber, Bergamot, Cypress, Encens, Neroli, Oddity, Oud, and Rose.
