This new dark green jumpsuit from J.Crew’s LA-inspired Point Sur label is made from lightweight, machine-washable linen. I’m always a bit skeptical of linen that claims to be machine-washable. It’s like fabric Shrinky Dinks. I’d probably size up. But, given the slouchy vibe of this jumpsuit, I don’t think a slightly larger fit would look bad at all.
Wedge sandals would add a slightly dressier edge that would go to brunch quite nicely. Flat sandals would create more of a laid-back west coast look. Either way, you’re in an insta-outfit situation – no need to match separates or think too hard about looking good. And that’s what summer is all about.
